David Hempling's First Fisting Movie

Hey Guys--this weekend RSS is releasing a new film entitled Stretch. Its a fisting movie shot entirely in a gym, but what really makes this movie so special is that it was shot and directed by David Hempling, my long term collaborator who served as the principal camera man at RSS for many years. Today David is a full time employee who handles all of our DVD authoring and serves as head of post production. You have seen his work before--especially in the form of the many behind the scenes features that accompany our larger feature films.

David has been a fan of fisting for many years--he was familiar with me as an actor and director long before we met. After graduating from film school, he was looking around for projects and I had the fortune to meet him thru my boy friend (Mo--who is head of sales today at RSS). We hit it off and David's first project was a behind the scenes documentary on Raiders of the Lost Arse.

David often stepped in to direct scenes when I had other commitments or if I was unavailable--his name can be seen on lots of RSS boxcovers. His approach to porn has helped to shape the way our movies are made. His style is clean and crisp with a camera largely in motion (as opposed to Ben Leon's camera work, which is largely static). One of David's best attributes is his ability to "find the shot" and properly film it. His perspective is that of both a professional and a consumer--he knows what he wants to see and he makes sure he films it well!

Check out Stretch--its a major fisting film that I am thrilled to offer under the RSS brand name. Congrats David!

Sneak Peak at Lords of the Jungle Artwork!

Hey Guys--

I wanted to let you guys see the preliminary artwork for my upcoming Lords of the Jungle! It is a hot box and really represents the movie. It was designed by Trina here in our office--another great job!

On the cover are three men--our Man of the Year Jake Deckard and two newcomers making their first-ever porn appearances--Steve Cruz and Rambo.

Jake Deckard

Jake is a real sweetheart--he is a true star. His presence dominates every scene in which he appears and his three showstoppers in Lords of the Jungle are some of the highlights of the film. In the opening scene he is paired with fellow exclusive Marc LaSalle--a real hottie if there ever was one. The scene begins with the two of them exploring some old caves near the beach. They find a tunnel that leads to a hidden volcanic crater deep in the thick jungle. After following the lava tube thru the deep forest, they come to a beautiful, secluded spot where they have some of the best sex I have ever filmed. The undershot of Jake's rock hard meat slipping in and out of Marc's rounded ass is one of my all time favorites!

Jake's next scene is a massive three way with Matt Cole and Jason Crew--this is one for the record books! Shot on a cliff face deep in the thick underbrush, this scene really showcases Jake's sexual talents. He dominates Matt Cole before letting Jason have a chance at him. After Jason powerfucks Matt, Jake takes his turn and offers up his hairy hole! Jake takes Jason like a pro--another stunning display that will become an all time favorite for many viewers.

Jake's last pairing is the grand finale of the movie--a two way pairing with Matt Cole. I don't want to give away too many details, but let’s just say that we were very right in choosing Jake as our Man of the Year!

Steve Cruz

Steve is making his first porn appearance in Lords of the Jungle. This Raging Stallion discovery is poised to become the hottest newcomer of 2007--his scene in Lords of the Jungle represents the birth of a new star! His hairy abs, dark stunning looks, and perfect cock are only three of his attributes! When you see Steve for the first time you are going to cream your pants (probably more than once). His showcase scene is with RSS exclusive Blake Nolan--a furious fuck underneath an ancient rubber tree in the middle of the jungle. Rambo

Who is this Rambo guy? Well, he is another RSS discovery (and now exclusive!) making his first appearance in Lords of the Jungle. He has a mighty black body covered in stunning tattoos! His swarthy good looks are matched by his charm and energy--this guy is going to be one of the top stars of 2007 if we have anything to do with it. His scene in Lords of the Jungle is a beautiful pairing with super cut Mario Cruz. The footage, shot under some wet banana trees, is erotic art in its highest form. In terms of lighting, context, and content, this is a great scene. Watch out for this guy--he will become a household name quickly!

There are five more long scenes in Lords of the Jungle, but in this entry I only wanted to showcase the guys on the box cover. Later this month I will have lots more to say about this movie.

Chris Ward Announces "Mirage" for 2007

Hey Guys--sorry for the lack of updates here on the CWPB, but I promise you a new round of news and entertainment over the coming weeks. Lots is going on here at Raging Stallion, and I want to keep all of you posted on some new and exciting developments! So lets get started!

I have been hard at work on my big movie for December, Lords of the Jungle. The edit is now nearing completion and I have to say that this film may very well go down as one of the best of my directing career. It is simply astounding--great sex, beautiful men, wonderful locations, but what really has me excited is this: Lords of the Jungle looks like no porn movie I have ever seen. What I mean by this is the feel of the picture--the color palate, the energy, the theme, in short the look of the film. I took a gamble when I decided not to use any studio lights on this shoot. Ben Leon (who co- directed this one with me) took only our camera and set off into the wilderness to film guys having sex. Because we had to use available light, we had lots of challenges to overcome, but the results are simply spectacular. No top studio porn movie has ever been made like this--it has the feel of a reality TV show complete with the grand scope of a blockbuster picture. Did you notice that after Arabesque suddenly lots of other studios started putting out "Arabian" movies? Well, after the release of Lords of the Jungle, I am willing to bet that the look of this movie will become THE new way top-notch outdoor porn movies are made. Yes, it is that good. I can't wait until you all see it!

Speaking of Arabesque, did you know that this film is the highest selling movie of 2006? That's right! At 22,000 units sold it has become on of gay porn's top selling titles of all time. Obviously I have to make a follow up! So--and here is an official announcement--I will be filming MIRAGE in November, my follow-up to Arabesque. I hope to finish filming by the end of the year and release Mirage in March of 2007 as the industry's biggest spring blockbuster. I spent yesterday in Palm Springs and in Arizona scouting for locations, and we are nearly completed with some spectacular sets here in the studio. I have cast Jake Deckard, Dirk Jaeger, and Steve Cruz as the leads in what will become another Chris Ward-style action/adventure epic! These kinds of movies are fun to film--almost makes me feel like an old-fashioned Hollywood mogul! I got into porn because I wanted to be a film maker, so I am very, very thankful that I now have the chance to follow this dream.

Raging Stallion Studios Finalizes
Full Conversion to HD

San Francisco based Raging Stallion Studios today announced that it has completed a six-month long conversion to High Definition videography. The studio, one of the leaders in all-male erotic entertainment, first began filming movies in the full High Def (HD) earlier this year. Recently the company purchased its second HD camera and completed the conversion of its extensive editing systems to accommodate the new HD format. Raging Stallion is the first major gay-focused studio to make this conversion. As of October 1 the studio has filmed 14 movies entirely in HD, the most significant of which is Lords of the Jungle, an extravagant feature slotted for a December 1 release date.

"We have long been the technology leader in our industry," noted company president Chris Ward alluding to the studio's early experimentation in the wide screen format (SEXASCOPE). "We made the shift in camera's early this year and found the new format a significant improvement over the standard DVCAM format. Our intention is to film the finest quality footage in the industry and to set the bar as high as possible for both consumers and our competition. For me as a film maker the films shot in HD are simply astounding and allow me a whole new range of options in filming adult material."

The company overcame several obstacles in the conversion, including the massive investment required to buy new cameras and editing equipment. The extreme wide-screen format also posed problems for a production team used to working in the 4:3 standard format. The HD camera's show significantly more detail than older, outdated formats, requiring the studio to adjust lighting and set construction. The calibre of models is of critical importance, since HD vividly shows any and every skin flaw.

Although the studio has not yet released any HD films in the new Blu-Ray format, Ward made it clear that these would be coming in the next few months as soon as an audience with compatible players becomes large enough to support the investment. Meanwhile, the post production team at Raging Stallion has developed a compression process that allows standard DVDs and DVD players to take advantage of the crisp images captured on the HD cameras. In short, customers today with current DVD players are able to immediately see a higher quality image when viewing Raging Stallion products.

Ward vowed that Raging Stallion will stay at the cutting edge of new technology and remain an industry leader.
