Raging Stallion Invents Way To Make Condoms Invisible in Movies
Hey Guys-- One of my jobs as an erotic artist is to find ways to make sex on film sexy. Every day at Raging Stallion we are bombarded with customers demanding bareback movies, something that we do not produce. On GayDVD.com, our retail store, we carry movies from all studios, including bareback companies. These movies sell like hot cakes. The problem is that we at Raging Stallion are not comfortable producing these kind of movies. As a leading company in the adult industry, we feel that we have a responsibility to have a safe work environment for our actors.
In the past I used to argue that showing bareback sex educated viewers to practice unsafe sex. Today, however, this argument does not hold up. Viewers seeking bareback movies can buy them from more than a dozen bareback companies and from studios who have large libraries of pre-condom classics. Today my reason for not producing bareback movies is simple and precise--as a director and company owner, I cannot have a potentially unsafe work environment on my sets. I am not willing to ask actors to have unprotected sex while under my direction.
So we have come up with a solution that, I think, may change the industry as we know it.
Over the past year I have undertaken a huge (and secret) research and development project aimed at filming safe sex so that the viewer cannot see the condoms. In short, the condoms are still on the dick but not in the viewer's face. Just as Hollywood studios can remove street signs or unwanted images from their movies, Raging Stallion now has the capability of making condoms barely visible in most cases.
You will soon see scenes from us that have what looks more and more like condomless fucking. We will be including footage on special features of the discs that prove that condoms are being used. And a viewer with an large HD screen TV will still be able to see the condom on close up or freeze frame. Our new invisible condom technology does not work in every scene--skin color, lighting environment, temperature, humidity levels, hardness of the hard on, etc. are all factors that play into how visible the new condoms are. Since a huge amount of post-production time is also used to make condoms invisible, we do not always have time on every movie to remove all condoms. In some scenes you will see condoms in some shots, but not in others.
Going forward Raging Stallion is going to make condoms as inconspicuous as possible as a way of making the hottest erotic images possible.
And guess what--this kind of safe sex is hotter! Everyone in our studio who has seen these new scenes is going crazy!
In both of the photos here (from my recent shoot for Mirage) the condoms are nearly invisible even though they are in full view. Check them out and see if you can see them.
I am proud to announce this new way of making films--it goes to show that Raging Stallion really is THE industry leader in the creation of excellent, safe, and sexy gay erotica!

Chris,
I agree with much of what you say about the current justifications for continuing to practice safe sex during production but I fear that your current approach may eliminate certain types of shots from your final DVDs and end up hurting your sales. One reason i sometimes rent or buy bareback films is that, unlike almost all "safe sex' films, the bareback productions usually focus on the fucking and include lots of penetration closeups, including shots of insertion, withdrawal and reinsertion. For some reason, when the models have on condoms, these shots are not included or are edited out. I've never understood this, but it is almost universally true. Raging Stallion is one of the few exeptions and I fear that with your new approach you too will start editing out these very hot shots because the condoms will be obvious. I hope I am wrong.
Oh you've got to be kidding. If you think anybody is gonna fall for this line of bullshit, you have another thing coming.
Unless you have hired ILM to edit your movies for you, there is no fucking way on this earth that you could do this.
The team of specialists you would need to do one film would cost more than your entire sales for one year.
Face it, you're going bareback and you just want to make some shit up to cover your ass.
How you could turn your back on the community and hurt the very people that made you is beyond me.
Thanks, but I'll be buying Titan and Hot House only from now on.
WOW! What is going on here with all the child like talk.
Your justifications for using this new "invisible" condom technology are appallingly illogical and self serving. You state that today the argument that bareback videos educate viewers to engage in unsafe sex doesn't hold up because the videos are now widely available. WTF nonsense is that?! Are you seriously saying that bareback porn had MORE influence on safer sex practices when LESS of it was being produced? There isn't an ounce of logic or truth to your dangerous statement. HIV infections are on the increase in the Gay community, both here and around the world - even a casual glance at out cultural landscape should find the increasing availability and popularity of bareback porn a disturbing trend. The pretzel you have turned yourself into to justify your low-road pandering is grotesque.
You then pat yourself on the back by insisting your "actors" protect themselves by wearing condoms - after all, a dead porn star doesn't make sell a lot of videos - but you don't want to lose a penny in sales by including safer sex practices in your videos, education which could save the lives of some of your viewers. I mean, who the hell cares if one of your customers gets AIDS, right? As long as he pays for your next porn epic before he croaks.
I have no problem if people want to buy and eroticize bareback porn. Your contempt for the intelligence and well being of your customers, however, is pathetic and deplorable. But I'm sure you'll donate an extra $20 to AIDS relief from your extra profits this year, right?
I strongly support you safe sex only policy. Personnaly I boycot all bareback movies.
I can't say much about your aim to hide condoms; be sure anyway to pinpoint that it is safe sex!
As a side note, like Chris, I really miss all the intromission or first penetration in porn. I think it's really a very exciting moment compared to the relatively boring "in and out" shots. I do hate when it's blowjob then cut with a penetration shots at full speed. Please let a minute or two for these precious moment of the begining of ass play.

Tofuchong, look out. I'm gonna rub you raw.
I'm worried that it will look fake and I'll spend too much time trying to "find" the condom rather than paying attention to your always wonderful films. Not so sure this is a great idea.

I CAN'T WAIT!!! FUCK THE SAFE SEX POLICE QUEENS WHO DON'T GET IT. BAREBACK VIDEOS ARE HOTTER. NOBODY I KNOW BUYS CONDOM DVDS ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY'RE BORING. ALTHOUGH I'D PREFER YOU MADE REAL BAREBACK FILMS, I APPLAUD YOU ON USING NEW TECH TO MAKE THEM AT LEAST APPEAR BAREBACK. NOW WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO BRING BACK THE CUM EATING YOU USED TO SHOW IN YOUR HOTTEST DVDS. ALSO, MORE LATINS AND NOT SO MUCH HAIR. I'M SICK OF THE BEAR LOOK. BRING BACK SMOOTH MANCUNTS!
can you do some cum eating gonzo films?
I think it's a great idea... some of the above comments are gross... people have a lot of hostility around this issue, for some reason. But I think a little movie magic is what gay porn needs right now.
It's plainly wrong, as you asume that safe sex is not pleasant. Bareback films ignore the sexual activites in favour of the risk: "sex is not hot, danger is" otherwise, what is the point in highlighting the insertion of semilnal fluid throug a tube? Bareback is not about fucking, is about spreading HIV
As I model who has worked on your set, I know we were fucking raw before the scene, and during the parts that were not close up on the dick. I had the same experience on other locations so this always seemed normal. This has never been a problem.
I mean we all do it, so what's the big deal? I think you should make movies how you want, and not worry about what other people think.
I want to work with you again, so I remain anonymous.
People are adults and make their own decisions - it's their responsibility to slap on some plastic and practice safe sex. Erotic and pornographic DVD's are a part of a healthy sexual fantasy life, a turn-on for the real thing and it's fine to include things that we wouldn't actually do in real life to make something a little hotter. What will be interesting in a few years as high-end post production software and techniques wind their way to the desktop is what creative possibilities it will open up for erotic films. Realistic fucking, weightless in space? An encore performance from a star that passed away long ago? Virtual sets of exotic locations that can give even a low-budget production a big-money look?
Chris do not pay any of the people making these outlandish statements any attention- they will probably be the first to buy the new type of videos when they come out- though they wont admit to buying them.
Where did gay men get this notion thatporn should serve the purpose of an afterschool special or a public service announcement. I know that safe sex is a neccesssary practrice- i dont need some porn star to tell me this. Besides who ever came up with this monkey see- monkey do analogy is out of their mind. Its the same kind of anology the rigt wing tried to use against Marlyn Manson as it relates to the cloumbine incident and the same tactic Bill O'Reilly tries to use against hip hop music as a way of trying to promote censorship. I'm suprise to see so many gay men have adapted that attitude as it relates to bareback films. Anybody watching porn should be over the age of 18 or 21 and should be aware of what is safe and what isn't and know that not everything you see on the tube you should simulate in your personal lives. I wonder if some of you who are all upset would say shows like Fear Factor, Jackass or Extreme Sports shouldn't air on Tv as it might encorage people to go out and try the same thing- c'mon give me break. Next thing your going to tell me the Videogame Grand theft auto promotes motorvechile Larceny. if people watching bareback porn really is responsible for people engaing in unsafe sex- wouldn't AIDS be a greater problem among straight people- afterall isn't most of straight porn bareback. If your for censorship just say it.I watch bareback porn (straight and gay) primarily because its more real, unhinged and less mechanical like most of the mainstream stuff- know i being a responsible adult would never engae in the stuff i see in those videos as i know better and that the circumstances those actors are under aren't the same as those in real life.
They are greater problems in the gay community (such as substance abuse) that many are relunctant to address but jump on the bash bareback actors wagon so that they can feel as if they have a moral upper hand- its so Pat Robertson and gay men need to stop it- you wont convince anybody to use a condom by calling bareback actors nasty and murderers are by barring them from working major studios, so please refocus your attention on other areas.
Chris kudos to you- you have find a way to keep your models safe (which is a very important thing)and still have a way of fulfilling the fantasies of some of your consumers. The people who are threatning boycott- whats the problem? If you want videos where you see models tell you how to put on a condom and where the condom is very obvious then buy those videos- why try to use bully tactics to quelch free artistic expression. Thats like me saying i wont buy any video form a video store because they carry a movie i dont care for. Its like saying the only thing that matters is what you like and thats the only thing that should be catered to- get over yourselves people.
Whether or not you chose to use a condom is your choice. If you hate bareback porn, it's simple: Don't buy it. I on the other hand would prefer to use a condom and would prefer to masturbate to bareback porn. For me it's all about fantasy. But would I ever do it? Hells no! If sexual health is something you can promote on your set, by all means do it. Ultimately, it's all about industry--after all, it's YOUR art. I say: do what you have to do, and let the audience make their own decisions about safe sex. Porn is just porn, not an educational video. Wake up people!
WHEN IS THE HOT CONDOMLESS SEX COMING?? I CAN'T WAIT@@@ CAN YOU ALSO BRING BACK THE HOT CUM EATING YOU USED TO HAVE IN YOUR EARLER FILMS?
screw the safe sex queens. nobody watched gay sex with condoms anymore. boring and dull! besides, I've fucked half of your stars and they never used condoms in real life so why bother with the movies?
One last thing, bring back the smooth, Latin look from some of your films about two years ago. Those were the ones with the jiz facials that were sizzling. for some reason, your last few vids were kinda gross with ugly hairy guys and no nasty sex!
KEEP US POSTED ON THE INVISIBLE CONDOM TITLES PLEASE. ANXIOUSLY BEEN WAITING OVER SIX MONTHS!
