Raging Stallion Takes 31 Nominations at The Grabby Awards

San Francisco porn powerhouse took 31 total nominations for the upcoming Grabby Awards (which will be held in Chicago over Memorial Day Weekend). This is a Grabby award record! The studio, which swept the GayVNs earlier this year, had nominations for 6 films, including GRUNTS and Mirage, the studio's top movies of 2008. Ben Leon's Playback was also given a nod, as was JD Slater's Erotikus. Also receiving mention are Jake Deckard's Ink Storm, and David Hempling's Fist And Shout. GRUNTS, as expected, received the most nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Videography, Best Solo, Best Sex Scene, Best Three Way, and other nods. (GRUNTS: The New Recruits has just been released in Blu-ray format.) Several studio exclusives were also nominated: Jake Deckard and Steve Cruz for Performer of the Year, Ricky Sinz and Steve Cruz for Best Newcomer, Steve Cruz, Roman Ragazzi, and Dominic Pacifico for Best Bottom, and Jake and Luke Hass were singled out for Best Versatile performer.

The Grabbys are the final event of the porn awards season, which began on January 1 with the Mannet.com top 100 list. The GayVNs were held in February, the Cybersocket and X-Biz Awards were also held in February, Hard Choice Awards will be announced in April, followed by the Grabbys on May 24th. Raging Stallion currently is in the lead for the most awards of any studio in 2008.
